Merbabu via Wekas is a quiet and scenic hiking route in Magelang, perfect for those who enjoy a more relaxed climb. The trail starts at almost 1800 meters elevation above the sea, so the hike to the top is shorter, with beautiful rain forest, savanna and great views of Mount Ungaran, Mount Andong, and Mount Telomoyo. It’s beginner-friendly and has a few water spots along the way too.
